All sections of the application form should be completed. Please provide as much information as possible to support the application to assist the Trustees in arriving at an outcome and decision of grant support of equipment purchases. Applications are usually treated sympathetically provided they are connected to the game of Rugby.

The formal application form is the only means by which you may apply for a grant. The completed form should be sent to the Trust together with any other information that might assist the Trustees in assessing the merit of the application.

If applying for medical support equipment – bath chair, Cryo/ Cuff Cooler, medicine balls etc, please provide details of costs and or quotations.

Grants generally range between £50 and £500 depending on the grant category.

Once again, it is important for applicants to note the following restrictions and facts. The Fund does NOT replace the RFU Players Insurance (Personal Accident Cover), nor does it conflict with the RFU Injured Players Foundation (covering, for instance, catastrophic spinal cord / traumatic brain injuries) and is NOT a substitute for Self Employed Insurance Cover (covering loss of earnings and personal accident cover). Finally the Fund will not cover the costs of any dental treatment.
